So, if a person desired to have a metal head but stay with a 50-size they are looking at an upgraded head like the following???

Man I always really enjoyed going to those two events every year. But not attending was strictly a business decision, it had nothing to do with the great events themselves.

To tell you the truth, I got tired of using our company's money to travel there and to subsidize some of our Canadian team members in doing so, in order to promote Century in the Northwest area of the USA (a market outside of Canada which we do not sell to).

I had tried to convince Century USA to get some of their demo pilots to go there for 10 years. All to no avail. Alas I finally just had to make a business decision and decided to spend the money, time and effort in Canada, were we travel to events in Victoria, Vancouver, Mission, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Quebec City, Kitchener and Ottawa.

At any rate, I enjoyed your company at the '08 event and wished you guys had been there this year.

As I also really enjoy flying and socializing with the best type of people on the planet (R/C heli flyers), I must admit to always having enjoyed myself there and maybe someday will look to return, just for the fun of it all, as I found the Brooks events to be some of the most enjoyable I have ever attended in 25 years of R/C heli fun. And the regular group there will always be ace in my book.

Unfortunately there are just so many weekends open for flying in a year in most of Canada, so we are a bit more restricted then you lucky blokes south of the border.

I have also had the pleasure of hanging out with Bill Meador and his group at a couple of the Sulphur LA events. Unfortunately, as I traveled there on airlines, I was never able to bring something to fly as I do in Brooks, but their hospitality always made it worth it. (P.S. Their special "slushies" are something else!)

Heck, keeping Bill company at the local hospital for half a day the first time, in 2005, was even worth it

The guy is a gas!!!
