Well, he certainly would not want to call Heli-World for any technical advice, as there is nobody there that is very experienced with flying any of their helis.

I would bet that oldfart, imnxtc, wasp & beavis1 have much more technical knowledge of any of the Century helis then any of their staff in California.

Oh, and Furious Predator should be included there also.

Hold it...3 of those 5 are Canadian eh!

calling dealers

Hello
Thank you Oldfart for your reply, I have reciecved great help from dealers like yourself and others in the past and again thank you,,,my question was directed at the guys that have been flying gassers in general as this is my first venture into a gas heli, I just don't want to end up with a bunch of electronics that may not be suited for this heli or for any gas heli....I have a good idea of what to use on the nitros but again this was a somewhat general question to help better understand what is needed to make a gasser fun and safe....thanks to all who reply

Hello! I hope anyone could post videos on the Radikal, like FFF, mild 3D maneuvers (or hard maneuvers), etc. and what setups are being used.

The only video on hovering may not be enough to promote this heli.

Now that is a crock. There are several people at century that are very knowledgable of thier products and have great technical abilitys. If it wasnt for 2 of them I wouldnt of stayed with helis as lasg as I have.

Sorry to disagree, I work at a shop and we have given up phoning or e-mailing them about causes of issues a customer may be having, different set-ups (e.g. FAI or 3D), setting gyros etc. on their helis, even about parts differences between different versions, and seldom got the right answer.

Fortunately, a phone call, e-mail or a PM here to Oldfart, their Canadian bloke, always got me the info we required. Just check out the many informative articles on OF's company web site and you will see what I mean.

As for other helis, radios, gyros, servos and engines that Heli-World sell (e.g. Hirobo, JR, Futaba etc.) you will find the people at Heli-Proz south have ions more knowledge of them then do the average Heli-world data processor.

I am not saying they are lacking completely in knowledge, all I am saying is there are many others that are readily available that have a lot more.

What a sweet heart of a heli

I can't beleive how little vibration there is, Almost nonexsistant
running very rich for breakin still getting 15 min flights
Puts back about 500 MAH in the ignition battery for a 15 min flight.I have a 1100 nicad in it but i may put in one of my 3600 nimh's in it, be able to fly all day on one of them

Is anybody using camper fuel in the G20? Thats my current plan.

rjhpilot91,, you may want to ask this on a Plane Forum, at least you could get an Idea if there is a loss of power with camper fuel

A buddy of mine is. he just started though so I havn't heard back how it's working out yet.
I'm curious what the octane camper fuel is.If it's 87 to 90 I would use it as well. it would be nice to not have to smell gas when your wrenching on the thing.

Yeah, Ive read that its that really low octane but lots of people run it in their 230 and 260 engines. I just wasn't sure if the G20 liked that fuel.

50 55 octanefrom what i know about fuel that sounds like a great way to detonate the motor and destroy it.
