My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The Stator Gator is very easy however you can pickup the magnet off the engine flywheel just as easy and save $40.00. Raja is still using this setup on one of his machines. These pictures are of my setup on my Predator using the 231 engine.

I use the Stator gator on one of my gassers, the other I use the stock sensor. I was thinking of switching it to the stator gator on the other machine because the wire on my sensor broke at the circuit board over time and I had to resolder it a couple of times to get it working again.

Yes it is the easiest way to get the gv-1 working (that's why I use it one the 1005) and on the vario's motor (G230RC) it plugs right into the button that usually kills the motor. You would start the motor, and if it doesn't read you just reverse the wires on the plug.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Make sure you order the Stator Gator for the engine you have. There are two different makes. One for the G230/260Rc and another for the Zenoah Heli engines.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I just mounted the stock GV-1 sensor to pick up the flywheel magnet, I get a 94% reading on the GV-1 mounted like this so until it gives me a problem I'll delay spending the extra on an SG.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Well that should work,i got a reading of 91% on my stock sensor but i put he SG on any way because everyone said that was the thing to do. I've been hard headed on this build now i'm going to do EVERYTHING everyone tells me too.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I would personally use the GV-1 over the revlock. I have seen too many problems with the revlock not working correctly. And the revlock SG is a harder set up then the GV-1.

I'm allways right 97% of the time..............So who cares about the other 4%??
