hi all, i was playing with my msr i just bought and i hit the ground after a 3 ft hover and the black cap came off the tail motor. now it does not work. any fixes?

It can be put back on but the brushes are really flimsy and extremely easy to destroy.

Best bet is to buy the tail boom mtr ass'y for like 15 bucks.

Your best bet is buy a new motor then put a piece of heat shrink over the motor to hold the end bell on. Chuck

Could this be a warranty issue? It happened to me as well. Seems like a flaw in what I thought was a solid design.

after it happened, i called horizon hobby and they sent me a new tail boom with motor. they are great for standing behind their products.
