I prefer analog trim on a nitro. It's much easier when starting.

I would like to be able to disable the analog trim for electrics.

I looked at the UK website where they finally have some information in English. Not only does the radio not have an integrated 2.4GHz antenna, but it also looks like a transformer robot.

Sorry, but it looks like a children's toy. I'd pick the new Hitec radio over this new JR radio any day.

Even if they keep the "old" RF deck, it will still require CE testing as Power Levels are only a small part of the CE requirement. There is still the EMC aspect and the LVD to comply with. These can only be ascertained by testing.

As for "not having an integrated antenna", COME ON GUYS !

We are still looking at the Japanese variant, it has not been released as the Export version. This will be fully integrated as per DSX12 / 12X 2.4

(i.e. the same chassis but with the semi-fixed module and dedicated antenna mount)

ASlorenz,

Tell you what, ------- you may have MY share ! :-)

Haven't seen it "in the flesh" so my comments are good only for the video pictures at the moment but it looks pretty awkward to me. (read awkward as BUTT UGLY )

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
DIFFERENT it is !

FIRST Horizon has to acknowledge that it exists and that their USA specific version will be introduced here.

That hasn't happened yet !

My personal "guesstimate" is Toledo 2010.

Your 12X is a full step (maybe more) above it anyway.

It would be nice if the 12X had the 11ms latency rate that seems to be the new standard for JR/Spektrum radios.

To my knowledge the ONLY Spektrum and/or JR Tx to have the 11ms frame rate is the DX7se.
I own both the "se" and the X9303. I presently fly the "se".
For several reasons, I have a personal preference for the "se" over the X9303.

Again, to my knowledge, the only Spektrum Rxs to support the 11ms frame rate are the AR9000 and the AR7600 as well as the AR7100 and AR1200. All the JR Rxs support the 11ms frame rate, when used with the DX7se.

I have and fly the AR9000/R921 and the AR7600 but prefer the AR7600. To me it is slightly quicker.

I couldn't begin to PROVE that last statement.
Suffice it to say that the "Pilot" does feel a difference.

"Suffice it to say that the "Pilot" does feel a difference."

Not something that can be quantified but absolutely true.

I want to feel that difference too, but they have yet to release a software flash upgrade for the 12X. But I'm certainly not going to buy that ugly 11X. I would rather buy a DX7SE.

JR do not release Software upgrades. Never have done, and I doubt if they ever will.

FYI it was already announced that the 11x will be able to update software through the sd slot it has.
