I think that "safe" is a relative term with heli's. Like riding motorbikes, some people do it for years without incident, others fall off the bike and hurt themselves within the first week.
I think if you:
- exercise common sense when starting/flying your heli
- understand the mechanical workings and limitations of your machine, and
- you have the requisite skill
then they can be fairly safe. I can't speak for the Eco Piccolo in particular because I don't know it but I'm just talking about heli's in general here.
A helicopter is not inherently dangerous or safe, the pilot makes it so. Hope this answers your question? |
