I've been have the worst time trying to get this bird in the air after a crash.

It started out as a Carbon 550, then upgraded everything to metal head and tail. Crashed it, then went with the plastic frames and the 620 boom.

it hovers just fine in normal mode. Then I put it idle up and once it gets up to speed it starts to shake?

Is it not a good idea to run 600 blades on the plastic frames?

More tests:
No blades (mains or tail) with paddles (TT Ultra light) no head shake
Remove mains go into idle up no head shake.
Mains on no paddles go into idle up no head shake. ( can't control the bird though)

So you have spun up the heli to 2100 Headspeed with no blades and you get no shakes correct?

correct all tests mentioned above were in idle up.

Do you think the plastic frames just can't handle the 600 blades?

I know of other guys that are using the swift 16 platic frames with 600 blades and the 620 boom.
Are you using the third bearing kit for the main shaft?

For the hell of it I would check to make sure the Main blades are balanced. Yes a matched set should
be balanced but you never know.

I did hear of one guy actually bending his main shaft on a spool up with 600 blades.
But I think your main shaft is fine cause no vibrations with the main blades off.

How bad was the crash? Did you have to replace the main shaft? Using a solid or hollow main shaft?
Rotor hub on nice and tight with no slop?

Yes, I forgot to mention I have the 3rd bearing block on the bird.

The crash wasn't bad at all, but I replaced the main (Solid CNE508SL), tail, spindle shafts.

I had the blades on a T600 Nitro and they worked well, but I'll double check balance.

I put new dampers in the head, it should be nice and tight, but I'll double check those too. Are there other dampers besides the stock?

There are the red dampners but they didn't fit very well in my metal century head. I took them out. And I guess there are some Century Delron dampners available that are solid like a rock. I use the black stock ones on my swift and it flips very smartly at a 1850 headspeed with 550's.

This is a real weird issue.

Maybe I have the blades tightened too much. I'll try loosen those a bit too.

What's even more weird, is that it was fine a few weeks ago. With cheaper carbon blades, different servos, different BEC. I smoked the bec and changed the servos and blades

Let see now....no shake without your Maverick blades. Shake with your Maverick blades...if it were me, I would try different blades...weights may be the same but CG's may be different.

Also check the thrust bearing installation, one of the thrust plades may be installed in the wrong position.

Found the culprit...

and very embarrassed! I went to check the frame screws, and they were all loose (motor mount and upper bearing block). I went gave a quarter turn to rest (3rd bearing block, electric tray, and anti rotation bracket)

After go over the heli 2300HS and the bird is silky smooth!
