Hi all,
I have a Vario Acrobatic gasser. In the beginning there was no visible vibrationes when flying/hovering, but now the tail has started vibrating a little from side to side. Not much and not a problem for general flying, but when attaching the camera mount, it becomes a big problem.
Something must have happened as it used to be rock steady. I have tried different gain setting on the gyro whith no result, so I guess it must be something mechanical...

-Does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Side to side is a gyro or tail rotor servo issue. Check the tape which holds the gyro to be sure it still is.

Thanks Joe, I checked the tape and it's ok. The control rod from the tail servo, however, was running a little tight. When I fixed that it got better. I also lowered the gain a little more and things are beter now. It's not perfect, but a lot better. I'll look into it some more and see if there is anything else that can be done.
