Never had an MCX, but my mSR is more fun than flying my T500 in the house.

But really, the mSR is a blast. Just tune out some of the stability if you want performance, or leave it stock if you want it to be more stable.

Gravity is what makes flying so much fun!

Oh yea way more fun than the mCX. I can hardly give my old mCX away. The mCX is a fine coax, but it pales in comparison to the mSR.

mSR is a blast in comparison to the mCX. A newb pilot can leave it on the tame settings, or the more experienced pilot can move it to the more aggressive settings, and it really rips. Watch some of the youtube vids and you will see what I mean. You could never get the mCX to move like that! And it is only money, you can always make more.

there are two positions for the links , on the swash , it comes setup on the easy setting , but you can pop the links off and move them to the other position , cheers

Two thumbs up for the MSR.

...and it's already setup for night flying with the lighted blue canopy.

I really enjoy mine. I really enjoy doing funnels in my living room. And this thing is indestructible. I have crashed it into several things, and I just pick it back up and keep flying. I wish my 90 was like that.

The mSR is an AWESOME trainer in the living room and outside!! I even buzz co-workers's heads at work with it. I also have the mCX which my son flys now. It's fun to have both helis buzzing around in the living room.

If you want more "agile" and less stable mSR change the head links to the advanced longer ball links on the swashplate as found on page 33 of the manual

As stated earlier, change the links on the swash AND...

You can also put in a bunch of negative expo in your TX if you use a tunable radio.

My 14 YO son wanted one

My 14 yo son kept bugging me to go to the LHS and try one of these things, I finally did and we left with two, one bnf and one ready to fly. I've actaully started looking at my blade400 3d's again these are so much fun it's starting the bug back up.:-)
