What does the 4 plus 1 mean. You get 5 gallons to a case?

Yea, I know. At our feild we just made a big order to Magnum fuel. We got 30% nitro for $20 a gallon shipped. We had to buy 16 case though. I like it. At least it is cheaper than CP and I don't notice a diffrence.

I think that it comes as 1.25 gallons which will be 5 gallons per case at the price of 4. (if it is like magnum bottles) That is a great deal. I have spoke with some of the people flying it and they say it is great. I believe some in our club are going to buy some and try out. I will have some soon.

Formula

This is not the same bottle, as those bottles have the same cap as the old round bottles. The bottle says 1 U.S. Gallon. Picked it up at Heli Invasion in Fredericksburg VA. Let me just say...AWESOME!

Guys I just tried this fuel today and it rocks! Plenty of smoke, easy to tune and plenty of power.

I ran a couple tanks in my TREX700 and YS91SR and was very impressed with the ease of tuning and power.

wouldnt the added smoke mean the engine is getting more lubrication...meaning its actually running richer, so you would maybe lean it in 2-3 clicks, instead of richen it?

we had to richer our needles around 6 clicks to get the power.

Thats interesting, in my experience it was the opposite. What engine and pipe combo are you running? From my use of the fuel so far I've learned that you cannot tune based on smoke using this fuel, due to the very high oil content. You really need to tune based on performance and sound of the engine. My engine also ran noticeably cooler than it had before on the other fuels I have used. Curious as to why the added smoke was an issue at your club? I think it looks cool Reminds me of a 35% plank with the smoke on if you leave it on the rich side haha.
