Those stats listed above are pretty impressive...I would assume the prices are going to drop on these over the next year.

Hey! Well I got in a set of TP 45C 3800 6S packs. man ! compared to the V2 3850s, they are the same size except the wire is a tad bigger! Man! they act just like my 40C 5000s, HS high like them, my 3 sets of V2 3850s run about 200 rpms lower on the head! Im glad the weather held out for me to try my new packs this year here in Alaska.
Have fun yall when you get them, Yall ganna like them very much

No blistering blizzards up there yet Tony? Slowly looking like winter here for sure.

I think I'll try a set of 5000 6S in my 700E.
I'd love to test them in practical flight instead of
looking at comparison charts.

I fly the 4400 Pro Power 45C(12s) in my flybarless TREX 700 E. The packs preform very well and are solid for my entire flight. They are pretty cool after a hard flight and the cells stay nice and balanced. Oh and I love being able to pump 10A into them

TP 45C

I haven't received the 5000s yet, but they are on their way as of yesterday. I'll try them as soon as I get them. I'm pretty carefull with my batts as they are a major investment. So, I'll do 7 break-in charges, then be pretty easy on them for 3 more, then I'll be ready
to see what they can do! I'll post my thoughts and comparisons with other brands on them when I've hade a chance to really test them.

Note that TP45 (as well as Hyperion) does NOT perform 100% until after 10 cycles or so (during this time, you will actually see IR getting lower and lower for each cycle)

So, for the first time, you can actually see improvement by break-in runs.

Just a reminder, since many forget and judge the pack after 3 cycles.

So is the price on these bad boys likely to drop? Its $580US for 2 6S 5000MAH 45C packs, way too much for lipos IMO.

I don't mind $300US or so to make 12S but thats about it, i buy 4 sets at a time.

Not likely to drop that low. It's $560 now and you would be doing good
to find a retailer that will sell a set for $500. However, TP claims they have tested the smaller packs like for the 450 (2250 3s) for 300+ cycles, charging at 5-6c and unloading them to simulate 4 minunte aggressive 3D flight (hard charge & discharge) with power the same or even better, and only capacity lost at the expected rate. Not sure what the expected rate is though. Maybe cycle life under these hard conditions is a better way of checking value more than up front cost?? Something to consiter anyway...
