Bob, I can't honestly say which servo horn I used. Maybe this picture will help??

What are you going to install them in? You'll love them, I know.

Remember, if you install them in a CP you'll probably want to notch the frame for the wires.

I'm kinda focusing on a Trex 500 right now and might wait until I get this one up and running before I install the servos, but they are going on the razorblade. So you have to notch the frame? I'll figure it out probably.

The wires come out of the DS450s on the bottom (when installed) vice the top on the junk stockers. I don't think it's an issue on the front servo but the two rears need to be notched.

Hi,
just checkin in again. I wrote Inethobby and they never sent out that 5300kv motor. As soon as I got the reply telling me this I got confirmation that it was just shipped. Go figure.

Still been busy with work as I write this. 5 hours of book work today Sunday! Yuck. I think by tomorrow morning I should be caught up.

chat soon!

Had time to switch the TB9 out of my foamy today and checked the settings. It's on ver. 1.03 and does have 3 brake settings (off/soft/hard). I did find where Manuel wrote he uses the soft setting. I used hard brake to try and improve the stops and avoid the prop being spun backwards. Any one else with brake on/off experience?

It's tempting to remove the 401 case to save weight, but I'm too concerned about damage. It's the single most expensive component.

It'll be a week or so before the Hyperion 4000 and 401 come in. Curious on hard 3D flight performance of the Hyperion vs. the Medusa?
