Lost it in the sun today for just a millisecond, but that's all it took. Pretty much a rekit, anything that wasn't metal has damage.

Hey I have two full G10 framesets if you want them on the cheap, PM me. I'm running the FBH frames on my helis.

I also have an extra T-Block, Swash Plate Assembly, Seesaw, and a set of HyperLevers, all in great condition with some minor aesthetic wear.

Thats a pretty vicious one right there. These G10 frames have a way of really buying the farm with certain angles. How did it go in out of curiosity? Looks like it may have been on the side and hard at that. Flying without the canopy also may have caused more damage as well because the canopy for the N9 is fairly beefy and provides substantial protection. I say this because I see your thumb screws mounted in the standoffs which is where I keep mine too when I'm flying without the canopy. Yes it does fly better without the canopy (lighter and poppier) and I have gotten into a nasty habit of doing it myself. Even mild crashes are tipovers without the canopy can cause substantial damage to your electronics.

I've noticed that the landing gear for this machine doesn't reinforce the frames in front of where the landing gear base fits inside the two frame halves. There needs to be some better reinforcement of the frames there with maybe a hexagonal spacer strategically placed there beneath the motor. You never know though. Doing such may cause something else more expensive to die instead like a cracked engine case. G10 frames are pretty cheap for this thing. Sorry about the crash. I don't think the guys who are qouting $700-$800 are right in their calculations. You may in all liklihood be talking about half that much. I've got a number of stock parts you are welcome to have like wash-out mixer arms, stock torque tube, etc..You can go on the cheap with some parts instead of going full bling. PM me if you need some.

The G10 frames are cheap and crap. I have broken two sets on my N9. The main gear is still the original one, but his main shaft looks like it got ripped out.

It just hit really hard.

Thanks for donating the frame Mike!! I wasn't planning on rebuilding it, but this changes things.

When you crash, the only thing to do is smile and laugh it off. Otherwise you are just adding to the stress a hobby is supposed to relieve.
