Plug the right servo into ail. Plug the left servo into aux1. Plug the servo that operates the center servo to ele. The wire from the ESC goes to throttle. Make sure in the system menu you select 3 servos for the swash plate. I always atrart with a linear pitch cuvre and set the servos up so they are level at half stick. YOu can do this by either using a different servo arm, if your using Futaba servos or use a little sub trim for whatever servo you are adjusting. Once this is done then I move the right stick on the transmitter and watch what the servos do. If for instance when giving right and left inputs the servos go the same direction reverse which servo is going the wrong way. Next do the same thing with for and aft stick. If the elevator servo moves the same direction as the other 2 servos reverse the elevator. Then check the pitch movement and all 3 servos should move the same direction. If they are but the swash goes the wrong way go into the swash mix menu and say if it has +60 for the setting for pitch make it -60. Then do the same checks for elevator and aileron. This is the basic of how I do it. there is more I could go into but this should be a good place to start. Just a reminder to do the checks with the motor unplugged or use a 4.8 volt bettery. I use a 4.8 battery for setup. Good luck. Chuck

OK now what

Swash set at

Ail +60
ELV +60
Pitch +60

when I push up on throttle all servos push the swash up in my blade 400 the swash pushes down to make the pitch go positive I believe the 450 is up to go positive pitch this looks ok.

Servo's seem to look ok I am going to locktight all the headscrews and put the flybar in and get it centers with padddles I have never set up a gyro before and would like a few pointers I have the manual and will try and get it done asap I don't have any spares so I don't wanna dork anything up

On a trex 450 the swashplate goes up for positive pitch. Not sure how it is on the copter x. The blade 400 goes down for positive pitch. Check right and left cyclic. By pushing the stick to the right the swash should move right. If it doesn't take the swash mix for aileron and make it -60. Then do the same with the elevator. Pushing forward on the stuck the swash should tilt forward. If not then you need to make the ele swash mix -60. You should have a pitch gauge to set it up right. Also if possible get some one local to help. This is one of those things easier done in person. Chuck

This post:

http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/p4451186/

has three links. The third one will take you to a generic CCPM setup that if you read, follow, and understand, will teach you how to setup ANY 120 degree CCPM heli.

The other two posts will teach you even more about setting up your heli and radio.

Enjoy.

I am not getting any response from my gyro I have the gain cranked all the way up and the delay set to Zero ....also I have the gain set to 25 on Rate maode and 75 on HH mode tail should be waggin like a crackhead on a 3 day binge is it normal for a cheapo gyro like this to be fragged upon delivery?
I have a JR 770 3D on my blade it is **** ....holds laser beam tight should I ****can thjis thing and get a better gyro spent too much time on this to crash it due to a cheapo gyro OMG wait I have the stock Gyro from my blade ...is that thing decent enough to put on here I'm not doing any 3D just hard sport flying...the gyro initializes but after that the light won;t come on in HH mode solid like its supposed to...

yea check the ball links. shouldn't be too tight but not loose. They should stay put, but once the link is tapped on the table, the ball link should drop/move. You'll have to resize the link if it's too tight. My links were tight from the factory causing my servos to buzz, ONce the links were adjusted, everything was quiet. This will help the heli fly smoother
