one of my concerns buying the tz frenzy, was durability. at such a cheap price i wondered how good can the quality be. i have to say, from the first moment opening the box i was impressed. i only get to fly about one day a week, and my tz's have held up very well. since i don't fly that much these days, i'm wondering how you guys' helis are holding up that fly more than myself. please post comments on what you're impressed with and problems you've had. maybe help guys like me on issues i can catch in advance. maybe list what kind of flying you do and your basic setup as well. here's mine; 9252's all around, with 401 , 9253 combo-- os50hyper, align gov. 4600nimh and an ar7000 to top it all off, under the control of a dx7 running wildcat 30% about to switch back to coolpower 30% due to availability. thanx guys
Nate

I'm on my second one, bought a new one to get all the updated parts in the kit, so far going very well I put about 150 flights on my first kit only had a couple probs, but js has fixed since then. I did upgrade the bellmixers only becuase of crash. If you decide to get the mixers change the screws for cap screws to the stock ones out of your old ones.(ball links will hit cap screws )

Mine held up great for well over 100 flights. It's ultimate demise was when a solder join on a batter connector broke off in flight. No chance to save it . Someday I will have another.

at the price, just buy a couple so you'll have a spare. i destroyed my first airframe too. it's as cheap to just buy another heli.

purchasing is typically dictated by ones ability to fund a purchase . In other words, I am a victim of this wonderful Recession and do not the extra funds to buy one, let alone two of them.

i hear ya. i'm a po' boy too. it takes all i got to keep a couple helis flyable. that's a reason i went with the frenzy, it's very affordable. i almost plowed one in today by bogging my engine and stalling my blades out but pulled out of it somehow.

still holding up well guys? i've been flying mine for a while now and still loving it. i haven't got to fly a lot due to terrible weather though. you guys putting in a lot of flights chime in. i like things that are time tested but i don't get to fly enough to get a good sense of long term durability.

you added the metal tail pulleys? i'm glad to hear she's holding up like that. if i can't fly due to weather like it's been lately, 100 flights should last me ten years. gonna try tomorrow after work. wish me luck.

yep that's a lot of flying. i got some air time in this evening on mine. i was taching the heli after installing a new align gov. in st1 i was running 2400rpms. funny thing is i have the atv in my dx7 set at 80% in st1 and 90% in st2 and st2 was only 2200rpms. i'm guessing i should be running it at -90% instead of + way to high of head speed for me but man was she flying nice.

Well i have to say i love my Frenzy Sence day 1 she has been great. The only thing i've done to her is put a TT main gear and the metal belt pullies in her. 6 gal. this summer. I'm like Nate i get to fly once a week. Broke her down last week to see how all the bearings were holding up and i was supprised to see they all were like new, still had grease in them. I think 2200 head speed is a little to much. My setup is.
OS Hyper/ Hatori JK pipe
Futaba 9252's on cyclic
Futaba 9253 on throttle
Futaba 9254 on the tail
Futaba 520 gyro
MultiGov Pro
Align 2n1
Emoli 3000mah rx pack
TT green paddles
RJX CF 3D main blades
KBD&D green tail blades
Pitch: 12+ 11-
Head speed 2000 RPM
