My Posts This: Topic  Forum		On my scale stuff I set L to -4, 1 & 2 to inh, 3 set to +4.5, 4 & 5 to inh, and H set to +10. If you are using the Gohbee head use heavy paddles w/ some flybar weights to calm it down.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		It would soften the collective around center stick. Hover would be smoother but you would have a more sensitive collective in both extremes. I use it on my scale and precision models in hover mode.

with that pitch setup there is no need to add any expo to the pitch.

Adding some expo to the cyclic will smooth things out.

I would try things before you add the fly bar weights.
Fly bar weights can be moved anywhere from the head to the paddles to adjust their effect.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Greg, I responded on your question about the weights but it must be floating in syberspace somewhere. I just noticed it wasn't there. The flybar weights are a good tuning tool but heavy paddles will do the job most of the time. The Gohbee head is designed for 3D (and it is a great 3D head) so to calm it down weight on the flybar is the easiest way. Without heavy paddles or flybar weights it will be very "pitchy" in fast forward flight (especially with the added weight of a scale fuse). The expo on the cyclics is a personal preference depending on your flying style ( I use alot) but it won't fix the overly sensitive for & aft cyclic. The heavy flybar will. I hope this helps.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The stock paddles are actually quite heavy, put them on and give it a test fly to see if it is to your liking.
The stock paddles were intended to be used for a beginner learning to fly so they are very tame already.
I would hate to see you do absolutely every thing that there is to calm it down all at once, and have you find out the hard way that it is so calm that it is nearly unflyable.
You can have to much of a good thing.
