So does anyone fly these anymore? I am in the process of buying a used one and have always loved them. I can't wait to get it and get it into the air. I'm just checking in to see if there are still some Vigor CS lovers out there.

How many of the Vibe parts can be used on the Vigor CS?

Are you talking about the CS or Standard? If your talking about the CS a lot of the vibe parts are the same and other will fit without doing anything and like the clutch you will need to get the complete assembly clutch, clutch bell, starter shaft and hex adapter (witch is a lot better) you can even put a vibe canopy on it very easily if you wanted to

but a good upgrade for the vigor CS is get the Bevel gear hub for the vibe and the clutch assembly if your going with a 90 motor

just the clutch and bevel gear hub the vibe gear hub has support for the bevel gear where the vigor didn't and the clutch has a bigger oneway bearing to handle the 90 better

vibe head and swash are better for the 3D stuff before i buy a vibe head i'll get a FBL system but the stock vigor CS it's a sold machine

I have a CS and have done alot of work to it and made it into a contest machine. It is very smooth and steady and really can be made to be a contest type machine or a full 3D machine.

I did update the clutch on mine but more because I had a hot start and needed to re do the lining anyway. I originally ran a CSpec in it but now am currently running an HZ in it. To do the clutch upgrade you need the clutch, the start shaft, the hex coupler, and a couple of bearings that need to be replaced because of the larger start shaft size. The bevel gear on the CS is the same as the Vibe (unless you are refering to something other than what I am thinking).

Really I don't think you really need to update anything on the CS. Just go and fly it if it is ready to go. 99 percent of the upgrades I did were solely based on what I wanted out of it as a contest machine.

This winter I am converting it to electric power though. Will have gobs of power then

Thanks for the input guys. keep it coming. I don't think i need to look at the clutch yet as I will be running a 61 for now. I planned on just running what is in there for now, but as I crash and need to replace parts, I was looking to see if anything needed to be addressed at that time.

Pretty much best thing is to also download the Vibe 90 parts list because many of the replacement parts you use will be from the Vibe

I love my Vigor (now a Vibor)
Flies great. The only changes I have made to it are the Vibe 90 clutch (which is better and beffier), the Vibe 90 radio tray and the Vibe 90 complete head. And i bought a vibe canopy (cuz the vigor got signed by Curtis Youngblood himself)
But I'm running a YS 80 with Radix Stick Bangers and beat my dads Vibe 90 with an OS 90. It's crazy. Love the thing to death and will never part with it

I have 2 Vigor CSs with OS91s, one running the Scott Gray head (its the UK Model Heli World review model) and the other the stock head. Both have had their clutch stacks replaced with the Vibe parts as the one way bearings were giving out. Great helis, just fly the snot out of them and enjoy

I have 2 vigor cs, I with YS91 and 1 with OS70 both fly very well. I also have a vibe 90, Its a little better in the clutch and radio tray, but it has less room for radio and batteries, I think they fly the same anyway as Im more of a sport flyer. JR machines ROCK baby.
