My Little copter has developed a "wild side". Over the weekend I get almost a minute of Hands off hovering in the house.

I took the blade grips off a couple nites ago to apply a drop of glue so the would not "Blow Out" any more and blanced the blades with a digital micro scale.

I reasembled every thing and wow! this copter is crazy out of control. It reminds me of my old Blade CP. It pulls like crazy to the left.

I put on a new Fly Bar, Blades and Grips, and it is a little better but not like it was, steady a couple days ago.

What am I doing wrong?
What can I do or fix to get my little copter back to it's old self?

Thanks John. Currently Piloting Hirobo XRB Llama, SRB Quark & E-Flite mSR, 2 Blade CP,s

Did you use the gapping tool/swashplate leveler/ little red thing that people think serves no purpose so they throw it out??

I need one of those to fly in my office. Tried to fly my .90 in there but man is my wife pissed now!

I was fixing the blade grips with glue.

Yes, I used the little red tool.

I think it might be the feathering shaft.

What did you glue exactly?

If you accidently got glue on something that is suppose to rotate... that might be the problem.

Everything rotate properly in the Head? Spindle spins on the rubber dampeners OK, grips move front and back OK?

The people are right it serves no purpose the way it is, and the best thing to do with it is through it out. It's too narrow at the base and unstable to act as any kind of swash-plate leveler. It would have been nice if they included a spacer to go under the swash to hold it level at the same time.
Just my two cent.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

The tool is NOT a swashplate leveler. It's used to check and set the distance between the swash and the head to insure there is no binding. And it says;

Quote
This tool should be
used after every crash or when rebuilding to ensure rotor head/swashplate linkages
are correctly spaced ensuring there is no drag within the pivot points of the rotor
head.

Try not. Do or do not. There is no try

I had a similar problem with the mSR pulling way left. If I trimmed all the way over to the right, it was almost OK.

Look at the large gear at the bottom of the shaft. Mine had somehow moved down, allowing the shaft to wiggle up and down a lot more than it should be.

The fix was to snap it back up the shaft and it flew perfectly.
