Century lists the changes to be as follows:
1) Anodized titanium-colored aluminum 1-piece Cooling Fan and Center Hub.
2) Even Clutch Shoe expansion offers improved grabbing force.
3) Clutch Bell is machined with angle cut to offer improved rigidity.
4) Shorter Flybar for faster cyclic response.
5) Anodized titanium-colored aluminum Landing Gear Frame. Notched for a better fit for the coil of the Zenoah engine.
6) Anodized titanium-colored aluminum Bearing Blocks.
7) Lightweight yet extremely strong G10 Cooling Shroud Mount Plate.
yes, i know i left some out, but the ones i left out were cosmetic changes.
so, are these changes worth while??? there is someone local selling an original aluminium frame pred gasser and i have been looking at the carbon NX v2.0. differences there are also the engine stabalization system (ESS), push-push elevator and removable pull starter.
i know i could upgrade certain parts but then the price gap closes. so if you had an aluminium pred gasser, what parts do you feel would be necessary to upgrade???? I know i would want the removable pull start plate and push-pull elevator. was also thinking about the ESS and the new cooling fan/cluch/shoe set and the triple bearing block. anything else???
