Anyone have experience with the Dynam Flight Simulator?

I know it is not a Great Plains Real Flight G4.5 but is it realistic enough to practice heli 3D on?

I'm thinking of getting one for my lap top so I can practice anywhere.

This hobby is WAY too expensive!!

G4.5 is a system hog, so unless you have a top of the line lap-top you'll be disappointed. This is the main reason I went with Phoenix, it's runs on most any system and I think it's a little better Sim.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

I think that the Dynam just uses the FMS (Free Model Simulator) software and is just a transmitter style joystick . FMS doesn't come close to the standard of the comecial sims , but it is better than nothing and does represent exeptional value for money .

I was able to get Real Flight 3.5 to work on my lap top. Works great.
