My 4G6 was waiting for me when I arrived home!

The event, play by play:

1. Outer carton was undamaged.
2. Lots of bubble wrap and air pillows surrounding the silver Walkera box inside (ClubHeli has great folks in the Packaging/Shipping Department!)
3. The undamaged silver Walkera box was opened to reveal the 2801 Pro transmitter, Walkera Neckstap (wasn't expecting that!) and Buddy Cable
4. Under the transmitter packaging was the 4G6, battery, spare blades, spare parts bag, charger, and User Manuals.
5. I removed the 4G6 and noticed that one Ball Linkage was noticably longer than the other. I called Rick at ClubHeli (who answered the phone at 7:30 pm) and he calmed me down and let me know they were all like that and that he personally flew mine and assured me that it was set perfectly.
6. I scraped off the stupid decals on the tail fin, then followed with a drop of Goof-Off to remove the sticky residue it left behind.
7. I measured and weighed the tail fin (JasonJetSki wanted the measurements to start designing his own version... Check out http://www.micro-heli-concepts.com for the coolest Walkera tail fins ever designed and fabricated!)
8. I charged the battery up (I used the charger that came with my 4#3B)
9. I created a new model in my old 2801 transmitter using the settings provided in the User Manual. I don't yet know if I want to keep the PRO version or sell it, so I am leaving it untouched for the moment.
10. I turned the transmitter off after setting it up, then turned it back on and quicly connected the charged battery that was easily inserted to the battery cage.
11. I noticed that the RX has two seperate lights... a power light and a "binding status" light. The "binding status" light blinked until it slaved to the transmitter... the ESC did it's little "beep beep bop". I checked that the servos all moved the correct way based on my stick movements. I then slowly spooled up the throttle while holding her down. All looked great!
12. Then the wife called me downstairs to help our kid with her homework, then I had a few other things to take care of, so that is as far as I got.

Looking to fly her this weekend! More to follow!
