There must be something wrong with my motor! It has power but not that much power! Even on TP 45C prototype packs! The head speed is lower on 15T pinion and 100% flat than in that video.. By the way Corrado! I got my protos flying and it is great! Had a very close call when my pitch locked up in flight I barley was able to land it! What seems to be the problem is the washout block is VERY tight on the pins! I can lift the heli by the washout without it moving on the pins!

It should have... The 15T pinion gives a higher HS, and the bog is the same as with the 14T pinion.
Last week I met a guy flying the protos with stock esc, stock blades, stock everything, with TP 6s 2650 40C batteries and 16T pinion with 100% TH. He never had a problem with it...

I ran the first 10 cycles on mine all totally stock using 6s 2650 30c
15T
gooooobs of power but there was a price to pay ;0( - batts came down smoking, ESC and Motor also but they seemed to take it ;0) and 4min flight times. I have since changed to the 14T 100 - 90 - 100 and she loves it lol

Most awsome bird- congrats goes out to Corrado-Italy and his fellows

I was running new Turnigy 20C 3000mah packs on stock everything and the packs were coming down soooo hot. One started to puff but it settled back down once I let it cool. I order a 14 pinion to make life easier on them and it has worked. But I don't have enough power with the 20c to do tic tocs. I have order a couple 30c packs from hobbyking and might put the 15 tooth back on and just tame down the pitch to 10-10 or something.

Nice flying indeed great control throughout piro maneuvers, appears the Mikado V-Stabi unit gives the heli much better flying characteristics over stock flybar for sure, nice work and skillset of the pilot, thanks for sharing.

Thx...

In reviewing the vstabi file on your site, I assume it is not the one Luigi is running correct? One on your site has a 8900 etc as listed for tr servo etc, is Luigis file viewable for public?

That on the video is the file we have on the site (at least 99% similar), we just changed over to a regular tail servo before publishing it because we tought majority of people wouldn't use narrow band servos.

regards,

Corrado
