Here's a question I'm sure someone has some ideas on...On my newly completed Predator Gasser, I was running it up on my wooded deck....about 1/2 tank so far on the intial breakin, was running good...idled up some to less than half, and it starts bouncing back & forth, then over to the sides, came darn close to wasteing a set of Radix 710's...
Havent messed with it since last week....I had been going over every part. The only thing I really didn't do, was...Dial Indicate the fan...the clutch seemed fine...no rubbing or anything. Think this could be my problem? Appriciate any help...Thanks...

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		on a gasser oh yes they need to be indicated. Luck with a gasser fan within 2 thousandths with no indicating and work is very unlikely. Most people take up to 2 hours indicating a gasser spool as they are real tough to get straight on that cone crank....

Is this that problem I am not sure the clutch and fan off usually is more high speed vibes that break bolts,ruin electronics over time, not shake the heli violent as you describe.

Head balance is usually a contributor to violent shake like you describe. If you can put the head in a high point it would be a good idea.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		you said you started up on a wooden deck....that itself may have been your problem. all heli's will wobble when they spin up until the blades straighten out and you get our of the resonance rpm. being on a hard surface exadurates this.

go try starting it on grass and see how it goes.
