My Posts This: Topic Forum | I saw where a guy from Germany had made some carbon fiber landing gear and was curious who else had done this. I contacted him and he explained how it was too expensive to ship this to the USA. Supposedly it is 88 ( 2 ounces) grams lighter than the stock gear. Has anyone used another manufacturer's landing gear for their synergy that was substantially more light weight? I'd very much like to do this to cut back on more weight. I'm currently running the FBH frames and am using a very basic electronics setup as well with the AR7100R for weight savings, neater wiring, etc, and I'm still coming in around 11.5 pounds with the canopy and a full tank of fuel. I don't want to go flybarless yet due to the $$$. Anyone got any recommendations? Tyler if you want to fabricate some carbon landing gear I'll buy it from you... |
