Checking to see if anyone has had a chance to get a 50 built from the 2nd shipment from helidirect on august 30 and if they have had any issues with the one way bearing thanks dave

Just look at the bearings inside the one-way. If they're grooped 4 roller bearings then a spacer, you have the older bearing that has issues. The bearing they sent to replace mine has evenly spaced roller bearings all around.

Mine is from the 2nd batch and has the updated one way and after about 10 flights it locked up once. Have 2 more flights after that and it hasnt happened again. Wasnt hard to get it freed up and was oiled with tri flow during build. Have to wait till this weekend to get more time on it. Will update after the weekend.

No offense to the Outrage community but how hard is it to design a working oneway. I was looking hard at the V50 but with the updated ones locking up as well I think I'll hold off for now. I went through this when I jumped on the early 600n's and I don't want to deal with it again.

I know the issue is being addressed - It seems that perhaps both the stater shaft OD and OD on the main gear sleeve insert are out of tolerance. Some have no issues since replacement and others are still having problems. I replaced my clutch assembly with a "current" one way and still have slipping issues. I will now replace the starter shaft and see if the new combination works. I am fairly certain that they will have this ironed out very soon.

Problems ? -- Mine are flown in fresh daily

Mine is from the Shipment that arrived the end of September. 10 flights so far with no issues. Around here we have all been beating the hell outta my heli from the very first flight too!

I have tried 2 "new-style" Outrage one ways and they both locked up on the first flight. Just put in an Align 600N one way and got 3 flights on it yesterday. Smooth as butter.

It's strange though, the Outrage and Align bearings look identical, right down to the text stamped on the end.

Jinxed myself. Flew 2 flights tonight. On the second I forgot to set my timer and ran out of fuel with a locked up one way. Didnt auto so god but got her down with zero damage at all. Now, what do we do to fix this???
