I am going to run 8717's for cyclic. Also, is one much better then the other or close?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I've got 8900Gs in three helis (including my N9) AND THEY WORK GREAT!!!

That said, I've never seen a BLS251....

Pick up one or the other and my guess = you'll be happy. I'll add that one gear set has been killed in eight crashes and it cost me ~$3.99 to fix it.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I've tried both of them (the 8900G and the BLS251) but I must confess that both of them were mistakenly powered at 6.8v instead of 4.8v... the BLS251 has handled the "over-voltage" in a better way... moreover you've got metal gears with the BLS251... so the BLS251 wins my vote!
