ok sounds good i just wasent 100% positive it was gonna work just needed someone else to verfiy

my idea in doing so would just be mainly getting longer flight time and a more nimble heli on 6s i think 6s it a little underpowered for the 620se

Hi,

This is also the path I'll probably follow after my first crash with the 620SE (whenever that will happen), as the baldes and boom will likely be broken anyway, I'll go for 550 stuff. I've always been quite happy with 550 size and with 6S it should be pretty cool. Nice to hear I'm not the only one with this in mind, as so many people seem to be going the inverse route.

Yeah i thought i might get laughed at for doing so but i think the 620se is just to big for 6s so i figure if use the 550 boom and belt then u can drop blade size down to 530mm or 550m should be a nice balance when using 6s longer flight times and a more responsive heli espically if your using 600-620mm blades

Acually Al Austria flies his 620 with 560mm blades and it is a rocket on 6s. The two helis are identical except for the boom and blades so shorten the blades and keep the boom until you crash......Ron

The frame is a little different isnt it ron ? I thought it was atleast a little different to provide room for the stacked main gear not that that would affect anything else with changing booms

looks liek there is a difference very minor though

550 frame

620se frame
