My Posts This: Topic Forum | Went to fly my Old Shuttle ZXX today and got it in a stable hover 15 feet from me. About 10 feet in the air, and BOOM!!!! Heli self destructed. o.O I think it was due to ancient woodies and possibly having the blade grips too tight... Newbie error. Totaled heli. I'm bummed, but at least I got my enjoyment and money out of that heli. I'm also glad that no one got hurt from flying blades. Found the blades 100 feet from either side of me.
Sorry no pics. Broken camera. Main frames broken. Boom bent and sheared off at frame, Tail blades gone and tail shaft bent. Hmm. one servo with striped gears. Plastic washout arms broken, 1 blade grip broken, nasty bend in mainshaft and feathering shaft. Pretty much time for a new kit.
Any recommendations for a 30 sized heli for my O.S. 37?
Oh well, At least I have my Trex 450 and CopterX 450 to play with. |
