I got my unpainted EC-145 this wed from RC aerodyne and what can I say, what an awesome fuselage. The parts all came in great condition and the fuselage was very easy to put together. It took me only about 5 hours before I was ready to install the mechanics, and that was with the paint job. I do have to say that this fuselage was the easiest one I have ever had when it comes putting in the mechanics. They just slid right in and locked right into place. After the machanics were all in place I inverted the tail case to have the scale apperance and reversed all my gyro and rudder directions to compensate for the inverted tail case. I just took it out for its first flight and what a sweet looking bird in the sky.

So, has anyone tried the scale head from RC Aerodyne?! If so, did you use a flybarless unit to go with it?

Nice Dan, good work as always. Keep us Posted on the build. Did you paint that fuselage are does it come already pre-painted in that color scheme.

Here are some pictures of the EC-145 Lakota flying. What an amazing build. As for the scale 4 bladed head from rcaerodyne I should be having one here sometime in the next few weeks and I will let you know how it does. From talking to them with the weighted blades that you can get from them it acts just like a flybar system. So no major issues. As for flights I have lost no battery time what so ever.

EC-145

Great Job buddy. Dan with Skyhunterhobby got me into Scale Helis a few years back. His Company has grown so much since then and I have purchased the majority of all my Scale Fuselages from him as he gives me great deals and assist with all questions with my builds. No knock on RCaerodyne as they are a great company I have purchased some fuselages from Cliff in the past.

Right now Skyhunterhobby and RCaerodyne has the best deals on all of these new line of fuselages in the US.

Hey I completely agree. They both have the scale market progressing very quickly. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
I have had some great deals with rcaerodyne and they are coming out with a blackhawk for the trex 600 that I have my hand in the build. I am future blackhawk pilot and am around the blackhawks alot so I have helped out with the scale details of the blackhawk. rcaerodyne just keeps coming out with awesome scale fuselages.
Here are some more photos of the bird flying also

EC-145

Yes Sir, they have alot of fuselages coming out. They are both great guys to deal with as well. We have similar taste in these Scale Birds. I have my eye on that Blackhawk as well. Good job on assisting with the Blackhawk as the prototype photographs look awesome. Future Blackhawk Pilot, "WOW" lucky you...

Dude, you're bird looks really nice. Can't wait to see the Video. Every photo you Post she just keeps looking better and better.

I didn't have an EC-145 on my Scale list to build but I may have to contact my buddy Dan at Skyhunterhobby.com and pick me one up.

Once again, great looking EC-145 man...

No I am a ROTC cadet. I get my butter bar in may and head off to flight school shortly after that. I have my spot through the national guard so I already know my airframe. I am so stoked for flight school. I too cannot wait for the blackhawk fuselage. I will have a thread up and going shortly though so keep an eye out for that.
