My advice from owning several GY520's (althought not on a N9) is don't get carried away with the USB programmer yet. The default serttings out of the box actually work extremely well. Set your gyro direction, gyro endpoints, and give it a shot in the air! Programming via the LED is very fast and simple.

I did not mean to say i wanted to change ever setting. I just wanted to know what guys are using so they did not strip ther crown gear. I used the 520 on my 600N and it was awsome and i am looking forward to using it on the N9.

The question is, how do you add delay into the GY520?

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

I beleive you add it by using the control response. I moved mine from 7 to 9 wich will have a delay with stick movement.

Did that, But Moved the delay to 9. Well by by crown gear! Move the delay to 15 in and out. New crown gear doing well. Yes my crown gear was tight.

After I stripped out a few tail gears on my 700. I went and talked to an Futaba Rep in the tent at IRCHA. He told me that I should not run "3D" mode ever.. only "F3C." The reason is that it is way too hard on the tail no matter what settings you used. So far I have not stripped any tail gears in F3C.

The Synergy is the next on the list for the 520.

I got mine to work in 3D I have t move the delays to 15. I will try F3C. The funny thing is i asked Boddy Watts and Botos what there settings were. They really did not know. I will move mine to F3C and give it a go. Thanks

FWIW.. i found that on mine i had a small drift which i could not get rid of until i rotated the 520 90deg... For some reason that did the trick..

So if anyone has found this to be a problem you might want to give it a try..
