Owning an innovator exp with 3d program, we get an engine failure while in negative flight, (engine) trim down. When I put the trim upside, there‘s no more failure but the negative pitch is deceased, which impairs flight on the back. Is here a solution?

Thanks

We had the same thing happen to the one we have at the shop where I work. You need to put the throttle trim 3 to 4 clicks above half way. Be careful when doing this because the headspeed becomes pretty high. We got this info from Ace directly. Also if you have the software disk double check the pitch and throttle curves in idle up. Ours was the same in both normal and idle up. We adjusted the curves before we tried it and got the dead motor while inverted. Putting the trim above half way did fix the problem though. Good luck. you should put the trim all the way up or you wont get all the pitch and yes you need to go into the software and add some pitch and head speed and take out some exp there is way to much . the guys at ace arnt so good with this heli they were telling people you couldnt run the carbon blades on the md530 and a lot of other things that were not right, over on rc groups there is a very good topic about the innv and you can here from people who have talked to ace , but ace is good at putting new parts on and getting them flying . i have 2 exp and love them one is setup to 3d and the other is a ez flyer

i really love this heli it has help me with my 3d flying its like a real life flight sim . if they would fix the junk landing gear and the tail blades are way to soft but it is a very ez heli to setup after you learn to move that %&#$ trim ALL the way up or your heli will fall out of the sky , its a great starter and a heli you can move up to flying 3d without putting a ton of money in it to do that and if you get the exp you dont have to put any money in it to get it to fly right or 3d or hover like a blade cx ,i have gotten 2 guys into helis with a innovator
