last week latest version of heli with 4ch option was rejected by apple for a very stupid reason, we immediatly fixed it and resubmitted it so we hope it should be approved and available for download in in the next few days, maybe this week-end or very soon after.

very neat. Things I would change though... When you hit the left stick for yaw control the aircraft should rotate about the center of gravity (which would normally happen to be underneath the center of rotor). It seems by the video that when a control input is put on the left stick (left/right) the helicopter yaws about some point behind the tail. Also it seems that when input a right stick command (cyclic) the helicopter reaches some sort of a stop. In reality it will keep rotating (ofcourse it will also be falling because the lift vector component to hold the helicopter up is insufficient) You should consider buying something like this to tinker with http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=EFLH3000
, it would surely enlighten you on how a small fixed pitch heli like what you have in the app flies.

Well, I updated the application to its latest version and could not find the fourth channel. Where is it?

At the main menu you have to change the heli. I think it says heli select at the top right of the screen.

Couldn't find such menu. I can only select between mode 1 and 2 in the settings.

I think I definitely have the new version since the previous would not allow you to change the helicopter colour.

WHERE IS THE FOURTH CHANNEL?

On the main screen you can choose 3ch beginner or 4ch. You could change colors on the old version. I don't think you have the latest one.

Thanks. I thought I had gone to the latest update just two days ago.

I'll try an update again tonight.

Found it, thanks.

It is unfortunate that the physics are all wrong. Rudder is nothing of the sort and now left and right cyclic is all messed up as well: the previous version had the correct cyclic.

Is this how it will be from now on?

Hi! Actually we were thinking (we have worked together with some pro RC fliers) that latest version had a decent 4ch flight simulation, obviously the physics isn't perfect (0.99$ !!!) but should be way better than previous version of RC Heli.
Previous version had only a 3ch helicopter to flight, and that had only 1 channel for cyclic making the heli tilt forward or backwards but no left/right banking. 4Ch heli we just introduced has 2 channels for cyclic on the right stick and 1 for rudder on the left stick together with 1 other channel on the left stick for main rotor power. Shouldn't this be the correct 4ch configuration?
Could you please explain what you meant with "left right cyclic is messed up as well: the previous version had the correct cyclic."

THe main issue we have (or at least we thought to have) at the moment is that from "follow camera" heli seems to spin not around the correct center of heli, but that is due to the camera movements, if you observe the heli from "fixed camera" you'll see that it should spin (rudder) around the correct point.

Thanks all really a lot for feedback, suggestions and comments, we surely want to make the best product possible!

Bye
Ottavio

Hi,

The positioning of the sticks is correct. That is not where the problem is.

What happens is that when you move the sticks the helicopter does not react like the real one would do.

Left and right cyclic (right stick) should bank and move the helicopter left and right, keeping the heading of the helicopter constant. They must make the helicopter go sideways, just like the forward and aft move the helicopter to the front and back. The left stick (your rudder) is actually closer to the left and right cyclic than the actual right stick... not exact (it moves the tail a bit- as I said the heading should be kept), but closer.

Rudder (left stick) should only spin the helicopter around its axis, making a full pirouette. Just as if you were to spin a top.

Jackheli,

If you move the camera position out of chase into fixed, you will notice that the heli does indeed spin on an axis. If you are in chase mode, the heli will not, just like the simulator.

I think it's a major improvement over the previous version!!

My bad. I see it now.

Well done actually.

If I may suggest a feature I would think that an auto-zoom would come in very handy in the fixed camera mode.

Liked it very much. Thanks.
