My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Has anyone here tried the new Castle Creations Phoenix ICE ESCs? I'm thinking of getting the 50A ESC for my Lepton EX and replace my Scorpion 60A ESC. I saw in Castle Creation's website that all ICE ESC with the green heat sink are 8s lipo capable. ON the Lepton EX manual it says to use 60A or up ESCs only. Would that Phoenix 50A ESC be good for the Lepton?

but should ok on 5S and 6S setups

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		you definitely should go 6s like a trex! i run 790kv/17t pinion/pheonix 60 with great results. The new CC gov function works very well also. i get 4 min w/ 2200 mahs.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I finally spooled up my Lepton into a hover. That's CC ICE 50 AMP is really awesome. Really smoth soft start and it's nice that they have the built in data logger. Here's my specs:

Stock 94T main
Revco 20T pinion
Hyperion 985 Kv
CC ICE 50 Amp ESC.

I'm getting about 2200 on hover, 2600 on idle up 1, and 2870 on idle up 2

I'm using Turnigy 4s 20C 4000Mah packs and I'm getting about 5 minutes on mild 3Ds and 7 minutes of sport flying.

I'm liking the Lepton EX very much.

I want to know what is everyones Throttle and Pitch Curves? I'm using what the manual has stated.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Just be carefull with 4s and the stock tail blades you can easily blow out the tail if you bog the motor. You should try the gov function on the pheonix. Great flying heli eh? Try some aileron rolls, it does those beautifully.

Just keep the HS over 2850 and use 68mm tails
That has worked for us for a long time

The Lepton does do rolling circuits very well
