A parallel balance harness for 2 6S packs would have the 2 red wires connected in a Y, and then each set of black wires connected in a Y as well.

So, for example when you're looking at the balance leads: red #1 from one battery connects to red #1 from the other battery and then into red #1 in your charger's balance port. Then black #2 from one battery connects to black #2 from the other battery and then into black slot #2 in your charger's balance port. You do this for all 7 sets of wire.

The connection of the main power leads is a similar arrangement.

Sorry I don't have a picture. It's on my list of things to do to make up one of these parallel harnesses.

I believe you will have to pay $10 shipping and buy a balance board for $10 more. So the total will likely be $190, still one hell of a deal if you ask me. Yes they are in the US, up in the northwest actually.

G-13: Glad I could help.

Nope, they can be any capacity as long as they are the same cell count.

In parallel charging they have to be the same cell count but can be any capacity. In serial charging they have to be the same capacity but can be any cell count.

i have 4 batteries, 3 of which are 6s1p5000mAh with the 4th being 6s1p5500mAh.

Can i parallel charge the above scenerio, given the charge mAh is set for 25000mAh 6s, and not damage packs or charger?

thanks,

G

Yes, you can parallel charge any same cell packs together given you have the correct wiring and know how. It will not hurt the packs or charger.

As for setting the mAh size, that will depend on your charger.

Yes sir, (we) ProgressiveRC are based out of Seattle, Washington and are always happy to help get you going with an iCharger or parallel charging set-up. And as a matter of fact, we will be adding some custom manufactured parallel charging harnesses in the coming few weeks. We offer the full line of iChargers and support/warranty for them here in the US. We also ship many units each day to destinations worldwide.

Please let me know if you need anything or if you'd like to catch up locally Band1086.

Cheers,
David
