Could not get what to stick? Are you using Flux? What type of soldering iron are you using?

You've gotta get some solder that is designed for aluminum w/ a zinc core.

Looks like some great work on these blades. What size batteries do you use?

Thanks,

Jeff

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

YEs have a pair made for my 500 and going to make a set for a 600. I used a 50 mah battery on the 500 blades hardest thing was finding shrink wrap in a size and the weight I wanted to secure the battery. when the weather clears I will try to get pics up.

That's awesome, post the pics when you can. I really enjoy building the blades, gives me something to do this winter.

A 50 mah battery won't last long depending on how many LED you have. A 100 mah battery lasts about a half hour on 5 LEDs.

I know that but on a 500 I was concerned with the weight.

Started work on some 350's for a person who is interested. These are my test blades. The ones I build for others will be Radix 350s. Also going to do some radix 430's I think.

Should be ready for test flight tomorrow.

Thought people might want to see.
