Hi all,

Not being a 3D pilot, (but getting to the competancy stage where it could be a possibility soon), I notice that on some rotor heads, particularly aftermarket ones, the seesaw has more than one location where you can mount the mixing levers. I understand that this will give you an option of mixing ratios, making the response more or less sensitive, but which hole location gives which response ??

I found this photo of an upgrade seesaw as an example - if the mixing levers were mounted on the outermost hole, would this increase or decrease the responsiveness of the head ? I want to try and understand exactly whats going on with these heads and the different lever locations, so anybody who's willing to "educate" me, please feel free to comment.

Thanks

the outermost hole would decrease the responsiveness while the innermost hole would increase the responsiveness. think of it like using a long breaker bar for leverage. the flybar has more leverage to move the flybar in the innermost hole. i hope i did not confuse you
