My Posts This: Topic Forum | The NEHC is hosting its second annual Heli Phenom this year in Mansfield, MA. Last year, it was a predominantly 3D event, and the few folks who showed up with scale helicopters shared the flight lines with the 3D folks. That worked ok, but it will be even better this year...
I am now responsible for running the scale heli portion of the Phenom, and have secured the use of several flight stations that will be in a separate field adjacent to, but not mixed together with the 3D pilots. Picture scale flight station at IRCHA, but larger!!!
The event will be held for three days, spanning October 9 - 11. We'll have our dedicated scale flight stations the entire time.
One extra bit of fun will be a spectators choice award for their favorite scale helicopter. The favorite helicopter will win a prize.
The field now has fully operational charging stations to supply all the 12V power you could want to charge your flight batteries. We'll have food service at the event, too.
