tried hotter plugs and the motor hated it . I might need to shim up the motor, or go back to my OS#8.

So for now it's back to the OS#8, and then I'm going to try a Funtech A395 pipe and check out the power on that.

Power with the OS#8 plug was great, but I want a bit more holding power at times so it won't fall off or at least recover faster. If I got that, it would be 98% of what my OS55 is .

I have the Best power with the TT Black pipe on my TT53 Mod with one shim , Coronal you might try that pipe and then let us know how the Funtech A395 pipe does also . Glad to hear that the TT53 has 98% of the OS 55 at a cheaper price also. Thanks for the update.

Hi guys!
The TT53 with stock carb and Funtech A-395 works fine but not near compared with the Hi-Flow 3D pipe.
It needs higher rpms to release an acceptable torque. Even though there is a noticiable difference in torque and recovery.

Tried the A395 pipe and it works well. It's hard to say if it's got more power than the Outrage50 or not. I've been playing around with how I'm tuning the motor on the OS 60K 3 needle carb and finding it's wanting the mid leaner than I initially thought, and the high a touch richer. Either that or that's how this Funtech pipe likes the tune. I'm also getting some end tank leaning, like the old OS90's would do. So I might have to add a header tank to see if I can get around that. I do like the sound of the A395 though. Troaty/growl and not high pitched. It sounds nice overall. I may swap back to the outrage here shortly to get some more time on that combo.

I do agree the motor likes the Revs. I am getting some noise on the heli, which I'm not sure if it's in the tail gears, or it could be the motor's bearing too. I replaced the bearing in this motor in the middle of summer, but I had been running that Magnum DS fuel on that motor, and IMO it's very hard on bearings compared to Wildcat fuel. It makes good power when it's tuned well, but I kept fighting with it, and finally gave up on it. I have 9 gallons of that Magnum 30DS if someone local wants it cheap. Anyway, back to running Nitro and this modded combo and I've loving my Vibe 50 again. Definatley can't throw it around as hard as my Velocity 50 with the OS55, but the power increase makes the Vibe50 ALOT more fun to fly. It's night and day IMO on the fun factor. That a bit more power could do that is incredible .

Now I've got several plates here on my bench for some friends . We should be set for awhile hehe!
