I am looking for stainless or aluminium tubing of 7mm inside dimeter and 8mm outside diameter of about 1m in lenght or about 3-4 inches longer than a vibe or raptor Torque tube, if there are any helicopters with that lenght of TT please list them.

IYKIST-
Your best bet is to do a "GOOGLE" search in your area and find a supplier of Aluminum and/or Carbon Fibre materials. (Flat stock or round tube)
Once you find one you will access to ordering it and you can make numerous parts besides Torque Tubes. Depending on your interest.
Parts like: Booms, Boom support rods, Vertical tail fins etc....

I've been doing it for several years now, it's amazing what you can cut out of flat stock with the Dremel tool! I also tend to customize my patterns on my Carbon Fins so it doesn't look like a factory piece!

I have done a google search for suppliers in the Uk but the tubings are in imperial measurements and that won't work, also the carbon rods are not ideal due to the wall thickness.

Do a search on arrow shafts as in bow in arrow. That's basically what most torque tubes are made from.

Sounds like you are doing a tail rotor conversion. I had to do something similar and I found Easton makes an arrow shaft that is the correct size. It is the GameGetter XX75. I purchased these in their uncut state without the feathers. You have to remove the nock (very easy to do) but it worked perfectly in my Vigor CS that I converted to use a Vibe 50 tail system

Two problems....first is with a 1mm wall that means it is 8mm OD and 6mm ID. Second, why would you want to swing that much weight as stainless. Just seems like a huge driveline power losses

As the supplier has 6 and 8mm, and a considerable list of other similar materials in small quantities, it is just possible they may be able to get what IYKIST is looking for, or suggest an alternative source.
One does have to start somewhere.

I have found 8 x 7 x 1000mm stainless steel tubes but it is a fair bit heavier than aluminium tubes but would do for now, also got some 8mm carbon rods they are actually 7.95mm and the bearing is loose on the rod, i might find some very thin heat shrink tube to go on the rod before slipping the bearing on if it is possible.

The stainless tube used in the Avro is apparently of medical origin.

If you have an archery supply store, you can get aluminum shafts from there.

Maybe start at this place and ask about the Easton Gamegetter XX75 shafts
