The bigger the better for your future heli... the little circles are probably normal, this heli is both stable in hover and maneuverable in forward flight with a little instability in the transition. Get off the sticks and let it hover by itself, if it sits still then your setup is OK. If it does the TBR (toilet bowl roll) on its own then setup is off, either something is bent, broken, or binding.

I do love this little heli, I think it's the perfect one to start on. I hope they come out with some upgrade options for it, but I know it's only been out for a couple of months and that stuff takes time.

yes! it is the easiest fixed pitch single rotor heli i know of to fly if you stay indoors. plus it is very crash resistant. the tail holds well. it has good power and no really bad habits. whats not to love? i just read a good review on it in rc heli magazine. this is agreat step up from a dual rotor design before you get your trex or raptor!

I just replaced my tail and it works much better now. It was piro'ing when given throttle, so I assumed I blew tail out from the 200+ flights I've had on it in like 3 months. Still having small issues with it, but not exactly sure what's wrong with it. Might tear it apart and rebuild it.

The toilet bowl roll effect is the rather large circle the heli does when cyclic is released? If so, could it be that the links from the swash to the flybar are binding a little? I have dust (from the link I presume) in the fork of the phasing link guide... and the roll is very strong on mine. Also, when doing counter clock wise circuits, the heli is fighting the turn. I know it as settling problem with the tail but there is a weird flybar wobble, clock wise turns are very smooth... Any thought?

Ryan Kephart's review of the msr mentions the turn differences you noticed and he says he used negative expo on the left-tail input to help smooth the tail out. (in RC Heli mag)

Thanks’ for your reply.
I have not yet read Ryan's review... I was using the game controller type xmiter with so-so result but upgraded to my DX7 with very nice result and I used expo every ware... but still I was wondering if there was a way to smooth out the left hand (counter clock wise) turns.

Thanks'
