I have seen these things fly and it is quite remarkable for what it is.
I may wait till next year and hope they offer a collective version.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly better than I can pilot them

My first video of my mSR. My wife was recording the vid, but couldn't keep up with my blade stops. I will try to get a vid of them soon.

Has everyone (anyone) tried moving the links to the "longer" balls on the swash? You thought it would get up and move stock from the box... Hang onto your undies!

I set mine up on a DX7 in HELI with swash on 2 servo 180. Everything worked. Took a while for it to bind took about five tries.

I just saw this last night - but didn't get a chance to try it yet. I will tonight - looks like it'll fix some of the FF issues I'm having.

Mine is setup on the DX7 as well, but set to 1 servo 90 degree. It's the default setting when you start a new model. Works just fine.

Wonder if there is a difference? It does have two servos on the swash but they look to be 90 deg.

how do you post youtube videos so they actually show up in the threads? I've been meaning to find that out.

I have the MSR setup with the JR X9303 pretty good now. I had to put a lot of neg. expo on the rudder (-70%). This makes the tail respond much more quickly to my stick input.
Also, I put in -50% expo on roll and pitch.

One thing I can't figure out is why the MSR is so slow in straight forward flight - but as soon as I turn it will speed up considerably. The fast flight will only occur in a turn. Straight forward flight is about walking speed.

Has anyone tried making a lighter paddle? I think these paddles are so heavy they are fighting the fast forward flight.

I think I may try drilling out the ends of the paddles... Let you know what happens when I do.

The MSR is by far the easiest single-rotor heli I've ever flown inside an 8 x 8 area.

I just picked one up today from the LHS. This thing flies great. Much better than the old dragonfly when they first came out. So far I have managed to crash into almost everything in my house and it just keeps on flying Now I have a heli to pratice my backwards flight inside the house when weather doesn't allow my other helis to get airborn

Just joined the club. this thing is definitely sweet! This is what I was looking for when i bought Novus FP. So much more durable than Novus and definitely a blast!

Well, to all those who love the durability of this little gem, I'm here to say that it can be broken... One crash (into a wall)and I had to replace both blade grips and the tail-boom (the tail rotor motor, actually). Got the replacement parts in today, fixed her up (put a red canopy on her!) and she flies like a dream again. Oh, be sure to get the polarity right on the tail rotor motor. The piros it normally does have absolutely nothing on those resulting from trying to launch with the tail rotor reversed! Don't ask me how I know that, however....
