swashplate problem

My friend Tony and I were flying out mSR's outside in a dogfight fashion. I lost my forward/backward pitch on my heli. After retreiving it back out of the 5ft tall weeds, i noticed that my swashplate came apart. I guess it is a 2-3 piece swashplate, and the center popped out. I just popped it back in and away it went, but it happened 3 more times throughout the night. I guess the same issue happens on a CX2 or something like that. Anyone else experience this yet? Have any ideas on how to fix it ?

mSR Dogfight @ Leisure Hours Raceway - Heli Mondays

This is a short vid of Tony (from Leisure Hours) and myself flying our brand new mSR's at the weekly Heli monday event. We had a blast, and can't wait for more people to get them, so we can fill the sky. Hope you guys and gals enjoy the video, and even more ... the heli once you buy one.

good luck on getting it back. go with a flashlight when it's dark, and bring some heavy duty snips to cut the barbedwire . That way you can get it and get out before anyone notices. lol. Bring ur tx too just in case there is some battery left. u can hear it move. I lost mine in a field and found it that way. then again... it was only 3 minutes after the crash, not multiple hours.

Flew mine tonight as well - buddy's wife had all the furniture in kitchen and was waiting on the carpet to dry so we had the living room to ourselves. Flys like a dream even with the ceeling fan going where I think the mcx would of gotten pushed around. Way easier then I thought to fly but having had a walkera 4#3 and getting that one down made this one seem like a 90

Buddy even flew it and he's in the hovering stages on a R30 and after a few failed take offs (carpet was catching at times) he got it flying around w/out issue. Definately a lot more fun then the mcx

But without negative colletive, you can't do flips or rolls, right? I don't know. I've never flown a fixed pitch heli.

I don't think it could roll with how slow the swash is, but it's a bolt in ff I bet it has enough juice to loop

Got Mine last night, too. Let a few try it in the LHS, good reactions. Flew it on the included transmitter & the DX7 on both Acro & Heli. Settled on the Heli setting w/ about 30 of expo. Like any other machine it has it's own profile of what it does & doesn't do well. Definitely more machine than the xCX, but still in that class. Gets going in FF pretty quickly, sure can find a wall in a hurry...lol, but durable so far. Fun little heli! Andy

Now a HELI MAN!

Need help with binding procedure please

I just received my mSR from horizon. I have an X9303 transmitter. I was able to bind the heli to the transmitter, but when I raise the throttle stick, nothing happens. I also notice that when I move the rudder stick, the swash moves - this can't be right. I started a new model in my X9303, and I chose heli mode - perhaps I need to just use the airplane mode? Can someone help?

Hello, Peter. What's happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports

Set it up in acro mode. The swash will move when moving the tail. This has been confirmed by horizon hobby. I believe the throttle trim needs to be all the way down for the throttle to engage. Give that a shot to see what happens.
