My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I'm just about sure now I'll be going for a fancy Swift 620 SE, I'm looking around for the power supply + charger. What do you think of this :

Power Supply Graupner 13,8V/40A (552 Watts): 147,00$

Charger Hyperion EOS0615i DUO3 2x6S LIPO, 2x15A, 360W: 376,60$

My short term goal is to be able to charge 2 * 6S 5000 mAH in 1 hour, and if ever I go 10S or 12S to have a charger that will follow.

Anyone see an error in my choice ? What do you think of the prices ?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The power supply is similar to one I have and works very well supplying DC for charging 5000mah 6S packs.

As it is a 40 amp 13.8 charger, then it can supply 13.8 x 40 = 552 watts of power if it was 100% efficient. More realistically, you can assume it is only 80% efficient for a delivery of about 440 watts. If you want to use it to charge 2 x 6S/5000mah packs in an hour, that would need about about 300 watts. So it seems you have the capability to do so with that combination.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Sounds like an excellent combo! I recently just bought an EOS0615i and I can charge 2x 6S 5000 packs at up to 8A and they finish charging in a little under 50 minutes. Great stuff!

Funnily, this will be the second bloc of my EP heli (the first has been the Futaba 10CG TX/RX, the third will be the LiPos and the last should be the 620SE!).

The first thing I looked at two months or so ago was the heli, and it will be the last thing I buy !

However, it's all ordered now and first thing I've received are the LiPos then the receiver (the receiver that came with the Futaba 10CG is in the HawkSE).... would of preferred to have the heli instead...
