My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Scattered storms with 40%. But this is Houston and storms move through fast. The plus is that the high will be only 74 degrees. Aleast thier field has a paved runway. and this will not be near as big as the SRC. So there will be pleanty of room for us. SRC was flooded and almost nowhere to set up. I got there early and was able to setup near the taxi way.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Hey Chuck, the runway isn't actually paved. It just looks like it, we put down some material that is used for what I have no idea. It keeps the grass from growing through and smoothed out the bumps some. They painted it so full scale planes wouldn't use it.

It AIN'T guna rain, so everyone come on out and have fun. Even if it does rain a few drops, the food and company of everyone BSing and telling lye's will be fun.

Address to the driveway: 13939 Kuykendahl- 2 blocks north of Ella Blvd.

From I-45 South: Take the Belteay 8 exit and proceed north on feeder to Rankin road. Turn left on Rankin under the freeway then about 150 yards turn right (North) on Kuykendahl for about 3 miles. When you cross Ella (Walgreens on corner) proceed to first left (with left-turn lane) past bridge. You will turn left on to gravel road which dead ends into our field.
Club sign is facing Kuykendahl.

From I-45 North: Take the FM1960 Exit. Turn right and proceed west about 4 miles to Kuykendahl. Turn left and proceed south on Kuykendahl about 2 - 3 miles. You will see a fenced gas field on your right. Just past the end of this SLOW DOWN - there will be a neighborhood on the right (Glen Abbey). Just past and parallel to the neighborhood will be our club sign and gravel road. If you cross the bridge, you have gone too far. U-turn and see directions above.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Told you would have a great time. I just got back and I must say one of the better FF I been to this year. Could not bet the price also. FREE And a FREE LUNCH. The most I spent was $8.00 for a tail boom. and the guy gave me a spindle and carbon (Radix) tail blades. I do not remember your name. But thanks again. I meet so many new people today and I am getting old, sorry. Surprised there was 53 pilots. and lot of stories told. I will be back next year for sure. Thanks HSF and to all the plank guys who help put on a great event.
