Is this the same:
The cyclic gain was at around 30-35. As I increased it, the heli flew better. The cyclic gain is now high at 70

As you adjust the cyclic travel that you explane before.

Maybe you also can print screen.

The cyclic gain under swash servo expert parameters is where you can adjust cyclic swash travel. I have it on 50 to give me 10 degrees of cyclic pitch.
Different than gyro cyclic gain on the main screen which adjusts how "crisp" and "locked in" your elevator and aileron feels. (Just like gain on a tail gyro)I will play around with my settings when I fly next- now that my swash driver is correct- there is no interaction now with aileron and elevator.
I will post my screen when I have it flying right- How do I capture the screen?

I have this tool I order mine from
http://www.machine-dro.co.uk/index....=7¤cy=usd
It is very helpful tool easy to work with and it works.

MB-PC to capture screen you hold down fn and prt sc buttons then paste into paint save as tif. The buttons can be different on witch board you have on the computer.

Just came back from flying after adjusting the swash driver. The cyclic interaction and phasing is GONE! This this is flying better and better. Lots of power.

Use one of the presets in the V4.0 software. They are fine for most helicopters. If you can't find your exact helicopter, use something of a similar size and weight.

Here is a link to the thread where I posted the initial settings
http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=156962

Since then I increased the agility to 45 for faster flips, got rid of expo, made swash servo distances all 100. This heli seems to need higher main rotor gain i'm up to 65 now, and I can probably raise it higher with no oscilations. When I first maidened it was at 35 and it was unflyable. I'm no VBar expert, im still tweeking the settings.

+1 for the Wixey, I setted up my Kasama Srimok Cyber Head with it.
Middle magnet in it's bottom is right size and really easy to get it perpendicular with top viewing it straight with servo bracket.

I zeroed my Wixey in top of cyclic rod's first then moved it to bladegrip bolt.

Easy as it can be.

Now to field to prepare maiden
My flying buddy have Gyrobot tuning experience, so he is going setup trough before taking bird up.

The Wixey works quite well and it appears to be accurate to the nearest 0.1 degree.

Today I did the test fly it was much better control of the heli great but I still have tail drift nose want to go left. I havent run in engine full yet can it bee this. I use the v-bar so I do think I never can get the cycklic servo to work proper and neutral if tail isnt steady.
And I dont think it will matter if I mount gyro at rear.

One more thing I notice when I did have the heli in ground and get up some rpm on rotor the tail is drifting to nose left WHY??

I do want to fix this problem before I do 3d manovers right now I cant trust the heli. I can add also this is my first flybarless.

I didnt get any notice changes of my different v-bar mounting.

The V-bar will make the heli move on the ground even if you just bump the tail control a little bit. It thinks you want to move the tail a few degrees, and it will keep increasing the amount of pitch on the tail rotor until either the tail moves or you give it control the other way.

Did you try one of the V-bar 4.0 presets on your helicopter first? If they don't have a Kasama 90 in the presets, use a helicopter which is of a similar rotor size and weight.

one possibility: vibration. Try changing the way the v-bar sensor is mounted. Use different tape. Strap it down. See if you can influence the drift by changing the mounting.

Second: have you setup the tail properly in the PC setup, mid being some pitch, proper extremes, proper tx calibration with no rudder input showing zero on the screen .. Is the optimizer still on? have you done a trim flight yet?

You can't really go by what happens on the ground, vbar acts weird on the ground because it is trying to obey your sticks. Get it up into a flat hover and get the trim flight(s) done (power up with positive collective). But if the drift persists my bet is vibration & sensor mounting.

I had tail drift with the "spartan" method with foam/metal/plate/tape/sensor. It was worse with just futaba tape alone. Than I tried zeal with a velcro strap- No more drift!! By the way I am NOT using the optional front gyro mount.

I had some problems with the Zeal tape because it was actually too "wiggly". The solution was to create a Zeal tape sandwich with the sensor in the middle, Zeal tape on the top and bottom, and then a piece of velcro all the way around.

That being said, I think based on your picture you are using too much foam tape. A single piece of gyro mounting tape may be better, and if you are getting vibrations you can eliminate the effects by increasing the gyro deadband in the software.

Thanks for the answers I have not do the auto trim yet and the optimizer is on should it not be on? First time I fly this bird I did have a big mess in my config but I now have get some expert help from Mr Mel so now it shouldent be any wrong in my setup and this time I notis big different in the handling much easier exept the tail drift.

Next time I will try to have velcro strap on I let you know if this working.
