I'm tidying up a recently acquired robbe 1.8 UH-1D which has the Futura pro mechanics.
Upon stripping down the 45 degree gearbox I found that both gears were quite badly worn. So far I've bought 1 gear from Midland Heli's in the UK, and a pack of shims. The other gear is on back order for approaching a month now. Other stockists in the UK don't have these gears.
Does anyone have a spare gear - preferably new - or pair of lightly used gears or even an unwanted complete gearbox? What Have You?
Is there another source of gears - Vario (?) that would work?
I'm up for any useful info.
