I got new fan assembly to heli (Cuatro Nova).
I readed from X-Cell manual and Predator manual that they recommended little bit oil to cracksaft taper when installing the fan to Zenoah engine.

How many of RR readers is doing this and is it common way to do it?
What are the benefits use oil on this?

It is very common to use a little oil on the taper when seating the fan using that type of system...

The oil helps the two mating parts to slide together easier as they are being tightened together and will assist in making sure they seat properly and with minimal runout.....
