ANDROSKI-
You mentioned the 600 you got has the DS-821's on it!
Do a search on RR, there are countless stories of failure in this servo! If you buy it don't fly it, RE-SERVO it!

Here is the first of a dozen pages on a DS821 search....
The question was about 8volts but read on about the failure rate!

http://runryder.com/helicopter/t484...t=DS+821+Servos

If your up to date on them, then you know! Can't say we didn't warn you though...

Just so you know!

I love my Raptors.. I cant say alot but other helis as i havent owned them, but the Raptor just is a tough ol bird, and it will fly as good a year from now as the day you put it together, and the Thunder Tiger Reps put ion a damn good show at IRCHA.. showing the Raptor can keep up with the best of them.
good Luck

Go with the Raptor. More locked in feeling and won't wear out as quickly. The new head on the Titan SE makes it as quick or quicker than the 600.

Align really needs to upgrade the 600. It is now an old model and shows it. Even their 500 spanks the 600!

Yes, the more I read I think the more I am going to get the rappy.

I had a titan before. Crash it 8 times and the frame is still good.

The new Raptor titan se still gets my vote, despite all. Easy to maintain, parts are cheap and no pressure flying it.

Parts quality, durability, and reliability give the Raptor a big edge. I have a Trex and it always needs something but my Raptor is always ready to go.

I have owned Align and have owned Thunder tiger. Go with the Raptor, the head is less likely to develop slop than the Trex600. My first Raptor I bought from a buddy who had it for about 2 and 1/2 years, then I owned it for another year and I can tell you it ran and felt like it was still new. Never developed slop and everything was still tight on it. Amazing quality for parts with the Raptor. I now own a new Titan again, and freaking love it. Awesome heli. Go with the Raptor!!!!

both helis are good just get what u like the look of the most.i have had a raptor 30,50,se,titan,90se also had trex 600 sport, nsp and currently fly trex 700.i often fly my 700 back to back with my mates titan se with os 55 both fly good.but the trex range still look more trick in my eyes but the raptor titan se with blades, motor, pipe combo is tempting because of the price.are the carbs on the 53 that bad for sticking or is it just a few with probs as the tt53 is half the price of the os 55 with the same 2.1bhp power outout.also i see lots of comments about slop well i have found they all seem to develop slop after about a years hard 3d flying dont matter what make or model it is.

i have both the new titan se and the trex 600 ,they both fly well ,if your after something reliable and has a bit of quality ,i will be the raptor by far ,when i built the trex i was shocked at the quality cheap rubbish especially the frame ,and the frame is more than double the price of the raptor ,the titan se can handle the wind better more steady and smooth ,the rex seems to be a bit more snappy ,but the quality puts me of

Another thing that I don’t like about my Trex is that the blades are too high above the cg. My Raptor rolls a lot smoother and looks better because the blades are a little lower.

I wonder if a Titan SE head in a Trex 600 would improve the rolls.

Get the Rappy and be done with it. My first 50 was a Raptor and 2 Pantera's which I love. I recently built a 600 and came away very disappointed. Within 5 flights most of the bearing went in the toilet. Funny thing is that almost every Align owner acknowledges the fact that the bearings and other stock hardware is substandard. Theres no denying the fact that Align is hughly popular, their helis fly well and look good. But for the money you spend you should NOT have to consider replacing the bearings (as been suggested to me countless times as the normal thing to do straight out of the box)when I haven't had that experience with TT or the Pantera for way less money. Too bad, I really want to like the 600 but its too fussy for me. All good helis for sure but I'd get a Raptor if you're looking at either or. Just my 1 cent worth (actually 2 cents adjusted for inflation).

TT

I don't do 3D....no wait. Oh thats right, I can't do 3D!
