Just thought I would share. I have had 2 crashes but the only part I have had wear out so far is the link ball for the tail by the gear box. It is like the energizer, it keeps going, and going, and going.....I love my Vibe. Soon I hope to put a YS56 in and try to get 200 more flights in before winter.

congratulations!! I hope to hit the 100th mark this month.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I got 3 more tonight. I was flying out of town so I didnt fly to much. (lot more talking then flying today) LOL The Vibe is my only heli right now so it is seeing all the flight time. Someday I will do flight 1000. Though by then, I am sure that the only original part will be the fan shroud. LOL

I'll be setting up my first Vibe next week !
Thats an impressive record you have. I realize that the Vibe is a great machine...I'm sure we all do. But this thread credits your set-up, maintenance & flying skills too.

I can't wait to get mine.

100th flight on mine , no crashes no issues at all, no slop anywere. I surely love this thing and have never flown anything better. Only porblem I have If I should buy a different heli in the future I will always compare it with the Vibe.We will se if anything comes close to it in reliability and quality.I know I know there are alot of cheaper and lighter helis etc etc. I give a rats a.. ! About that this thing rocks.

Regards Pete

I have crashed it 4 times, 2 were prety bad ($260-$320) but the last 2 were nothing. The last one this Sunday I ran out of fuel inverted and it it didnt even break the blades. <---(Lucky, LOL)

Setup wise, I have played with a few things here and there, upgraded some electronics, changed the engine, but when I was at the field with it the most I ever had to do was change the glow plug.

Maintenance-wise, I have done almost nothing more then clean it after each day and look things over, charge it and do it again. I had to change the link and ball on the tail gear box once cause the link ball wore out. I just changed the flybar cage because the "stoppers" had a bit of slop in the plastic arms. I need to replace the washout still because it is getting sloppy. I spent about 3 weeks trying to blow this heli up in flight doing stuff that I almost felt guilty about and it didnt even "bobble". Pretty tough machine if you ask me (I do have metal grips though)

I have been really impressed with this heli, the quality of a JR is not found in very many other machines....

Boy howdy, I'll second all the posters here

Now we all know it's folly to compare models since everybody will swear by their favorites

But I've had a few different 50 heli's and IMO, the other models make you appreciate JR's design & engineering on the Vibe more

Now not to hijack this thread, but.... you guys that have em & lov em, I have a real sweet one, never crashed, that I may have to sell

Not in the classifieds but send me a pm if ya wanna chat...thanks

Jeff
