My Posts This: Topic Forum | ok so i have my data recorder and power panel screen on my 500 when i wack the lipo and the flybar did a wonderful job and smashing the screen, its a 2 line lcd with only 6 wire that attach to it. i ve searched the net for 2 line lcds but cant seem to find the match. does any one know who supplies these to eagle tree ? reason being i wanted to upgrade to a blue back ground with white wrighting, as i can see them better and also wanted to add back light. i know it will weight more and not to worried about that or adding 5v to power the back light any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Kevin
ok i after some digging it looks to be a i2c input so 6 wires going into the lcd 4 wires off the data logger. ok so is this i2c, serial, pcm ?? i am no electronics wiz can some one please explain why i can only find lcs with 16 some pins ?

Maybe an extra 2 grams for the back light, i ll weight it to night. only one problem so far the screen dont come with the eagle tree adpt board. The logger supplies 5v and then the little board breaks it down. Also had to add 2 wires and smt reistor for the backlight. So since i ordered 2 screens, i put connector on the little brd and conn on the screen and using a 6wire jumper, so i can leave screen on one model and just move logger and little brd over to the other. We will say 35$ for the screens and i will supply the connectors and a jumper lead. If you want solder it or u can ship me your screen and i will solder it and ship it back to you. no extra for doing the soldering =) PP fee extra, i will pay priority shipping
